Do you know if there are any parking fees at the convention center (per day? cash only?) for those of us that will be traveling from outside the city each day?
Convention center parking is around $12 per day depending on the garage you use.
The hotels being used by NYMC will charge and overnight per day fee ranging from $17 to as much as $50 per night to park your car (valet parking). There isn't standard hotel parking like you would find if you went to a suburb. Buuuut... for those of you who are driving and need a place to stay. Try Best Western Clarmont Inn located a mile down the road. They have a parking lot. Their rates are around $75 per night and it's located in a good area. This was suggested by a friend who owns a business in Dayton and goes to many conferences at the convention center.
Thank you for the info -- I had already checked our hotel and the valet is $21 per night. The garage is "just behind" the hotel -- I assume that is the $12 per day garage. I'll have to check it out when I get there. Thanks again!

I can't speak authoritatively, but when I went there as a day visitor a couple years ago, you could park in the actual convention center lots for free. They weren't garages, just lots at the center itself. But, maybe it varies from event to event.
We just had our youth group at the Convention Center last month for the dare2share Invincible Conference and the parking right next to the Convention Center was $7.00. If you leave during the day, however, you need to pay to park again.
